Terms of Service

Effective date: 17 October 2026

The service. Virasat records an elder’s life stories through AI conversations and creates a family biography. The core service is free; optional premium features may be offered.
Accounts. You sign in with Google. Keep your account secure. The family organiser decides who can see a storyteller’s story.
Consent. Only add a storyteller who has agreed to take part. Don’t upload content you don’t have the right to share.
AI content. Replies, summaries and biographies are generated by AI and can contain mistakes. Please check them before printing or sharing.
Your content. Your family’s stories remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service. You can download or delete them at any time.
Premium. Premium plans are yearly, for one storyteller, and can be cancelled anytime; they stop at the end of the paid year.
Acceptable use. No unlawful, abusive or harmful use; no attempts to access other families’ data or disrupt the service.
No warranty. The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses.
